Overview:

The Front Desk Clerk plays a vital role in ensuring guests receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive until their departure. This position is essential for maintaining high occupancy rates and maximizing revenue through outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide a warm welcome to all guests at the Front Desk, adhering to company standards.
  2. Manage the PBX console effectively, ensuring all hotel protocols are followed.
  3. Respond promptly to guest inquiries regarding hotel amenities, services, and operational hours.
  4. Handle the logging and delivery of packages, mail, and messages to guests.
  5. Review daily Front Office logs and Trace Files to ensure smooth operations.
  6. Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes in a friendly and efficient manner.
  7. Maintain knowledge of current rates, packages, and promotions.
  8. Ensure compliance with cash handling and credit policies.
  9. Demonstrate effective communication skills with guests and team members.
  10. Participate in required meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with college coursework in a related field being advantageous. Previous experience in hospitality or a related sector is preferred. Proficiency in computer systems and customer service is essential.

Physical and General Requirements:

This role may require flexible hours and the ability to stand for extended periods. Candidates should be capable of lifting light objects and maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
