Position Overview:
As a Front Desk Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that each guest receives a warm welcome and a memorable departure experience. You will act as a representative of our hotel, providing essential information about our services and the surrounding area while showcasing our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate guest check-ins and check-outs in accordance with our service standards.
  • Actively listen to guest inquiries and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Establish accurate guest accounts based on preferences and requirements.
  • Manage room assignments and ensure all special requests are fulfilled.
  • Communicate relevant guest information to appropriate departments.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of guest information.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail to ensure guest room access security.
  • Adhere to accounting standards for accurate billing and settlements.
  • Keep detailed records of guest history and preferences.
  • Address room changes promptly and efficiently.
  • Document and follow up on guest requests and issues to ensure satisfaction.
  • Manage safe deposit box access for guests.
  • Oversee the distribution of guest communications.
  • Generate and distribute reports as needed.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping to resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel features, services, and promotions.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in data entry and computer systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members across departments.
  • Strong mathematical skills for accurate transactions.
  • Quick thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in customer service is essential.
  • Experience in hotel front desk operations is highly preferred.
  • Cash handling experience is advantageous.
  • Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Training in guest relations is beneficial.
