About the Role:

The Crisis Services Clinician II will provide clinical assessment, behavioral health treatment, and intervention for children, adolescents, and their families experiencing a psychiatric/behavioral health crisis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and document client presenting problems, history, symptomology, mental status, diagnosis, and prescribe initial interventions in a timely manner.
  • Assess risk for lethality and engage in thorough safety planning.
  • Recommend disposition for level of care, utilizing case consultation and staffing as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with client/family to develop specific, realistic, and measurable treatment goals and objectives.
  • Employ strategies of intervention consistent with empirically supported treatments and program expectations.

Requirements:

  • Remain current in required licensure and clinical or other trainings as required.
  • Satisfactory progress toward independent licensure is expected.
