Job Description

AirNet II is a leading aviation company that specializes in scheduled and on-demand cargo charter services. As an A&P Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring that inspections, servicing, repairs, and maintenance are performed in accordance with the appropriate aircraft maintenance manual, company policies and procedures, and the Repair Station manual.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preflight and post-flight checks for the aircraft
  • Discrepancy repair on the aircraft
  • Safely work in a shop environment using tools and equipment as necessary
  • Complete assigned tasks outdoors and in inclement weather if required
  • Ensure that work performed gets inspected by the appropriate inspection personnel
  • Complete required documentation for work performed
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair aircraft and/or engines as assigned
  • Complete required training as assigned
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Use basic computer skills to complete and document tasks
  • Work productively individually or with an assigned crew
  • Work with integrity and desire to maintain a high-quality standard
  • Report failures or deficiencies immediately
  • Pass background check and random DOT drug testing
  • Overtime and/or weekend work may be required

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • A valid unrestricted driver's license
  • A&P Certificate
  • At least 3 years of maintenance experience
  • Experience with Baron, Falcons, and Learjet 30 series, preferred

  • Basic MS Office knowledge, computer software, and internet proficiency
  • Candidate must be able to understand, read, and write English
  • Candidate must pass DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and a DOT/FAA compliant background check
  • Candidate should be motivated, resourceful, energetic, organized, and able to manage and be managed
  • Candidate must be reliable, punctual, and flexible
  • Candidate must be able to multi-task, respect, and maintain confidentiality
  • Candidate must be ethical, trustworthy with sensitive information

  • Candidate must be able to communicate effectively and work within a team-focused environment

  • Candidate must have an outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships

Physical Requirements:

  • Employees are regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard
  • Light to moderate lifting is required
  • Must be able to climb and use a ladder, work stands, platforms, and lift equipment
  • Work within a confined workspace(s)

Location Requirements:

  • Operation based in Columbus, OH at Rickenbacker International (LCK)
  • No ability to work from home
  • No relocation package for this position

Other Requirements:

  • Must have jet experience
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Schedule:

  • Day Shift
  • 4 Days, 10 hours days
