Commercial Loan Portfolio Supervisor

The Commercial Loan Portfolio Supervisor will collaborate with the Asset Recovery Relationship Managers (ARRMs) to oversee their portfolio of Commercial and Industrial (C&I) and Commercial Real Estate (CRE) loans. The selected candidate will hold overall responsibility for the daily management of these commercial relationships, which may include overseeing existing loan and deposit accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in close partnership with the ARRMs to address the credit administration requirements of the ARRMs' customer portfolio, as well as engage with customers to gather insights regarding their business, financial health, and operational performance.
- The complexity of the customer relationships managed, any credit authority granted, and the designation level of the Portfolio Supervisor will depend on the individual's work experience and training.
- Accountable for drafting credit memorandums to secure approval for workout strategies.
- Assist the ARRMs in compiling reports for management, including Problem Loan Reports, presenting issues related to problem credits, and analyzing cash flows and financial statements.
- A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a business-related discipline, though equivalent experience in commercial banking lending divisions will be considered.
- A minimum of 4-5 years of relevant banking experience is essential.
- Relevant banking experience may encompass areas such as Commercial Credit Administration, Commercial Real Estate, Middle Market, Business Banking, and/or Small Business Banking.
- A strong understanding of commercial loan and deposit products is necessary.
- The candidate must be self-driven and capable of working with minimal oversight.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong listening and presentation abilities, are required.
- Proficiency in PC applications, including a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites, NCino, and other Data Applications and Platform programs necessary for managing daily tasks is essential.
