Job Responsibilities:

Key Duties:
  • Transactional Proficiency: Exhibit exceptional skills in overseeing various commercial real estate transactions, with a focus on large loan financing. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating loan agreements, purchase and sale contracts, and other legal documents.
  • Title and Survey Analysis: Perform detailed title examinations and survey assessments to identify potential issues or risks associated with real estate properties. Provide strategic guidance to clients based on your findings.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence investigations on real estate assets to ensure compliance with legal standards and identify any liabilities.
  • Client Advisory: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their goals, offering strategic legal counsel to support their commercial real estate initiatives.
  • Transaction Oversight: Manage the complete lifecycle of real estate transactions, from negotiation through to completion, ensuring all legal requirements are fulfilled.
  • Research and Insights: Stay informed on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting commercial real estate financing and title issues. Conduct legal research to provide innovative solutions to challenges.
  • Mentorship: Guide junior associates and support staff, fostering their professional development and promoting a collaborative team atmosphere.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Partner with other practice areas such as finance, tax, and corporate law to deliver comprehensive legal services to clients with diverse needs.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • State bar admission in good standing.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial real estate law, with a focus on large loan financing and title and survey work.
