Job Summary

As a Senior Vice President - Development and Investment at CLevelCrossing, you will be responsible for leading the sourcing, underwriting, and field execution of development and investment transactions within assigned business units. This includes site selection, securing entitlements and approvals, budgeting, design, creating and implementing project business plans, capitalizing and monetizing projects, and coordinating asset management of assigned portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Identify and secure new business opportunities through strategic partnerships and market research.
  2. Develop and execute comprehensive business plans for development and investment projects, including financial modeling, risk assessment, and market analysis.
  3. Negotiate deal terms with debt and equity sources to optimize capital structure and achieve project goals.
  4. Lead project teams in the development and implementation of project business plans, including hiring and managing project leasing and property management teams.
  5. Collaborate with capital partners to ensure project progress and alignment with company goals.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, brokers, tenants, lenders, engineers, and appraisers.
  7. Monitor and analyze asset management data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or architecture, and at least 8-10 years of experience in commercial real estate with a strong financial and marketing orientation. You should also have a proven track record of leading profitable development projects and a deep understanding of financial and real estate terms and principles.
