Job Summary

The Assistant Vice President of Risk Management will lead the organization's risk management efforts, identifying and mitigating potential risks to the business. This role will oversee the development and implementation of risk management policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize potential losses and maximize business opportunities
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation and prevention
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement enterprise risk management processes
  • Oversee the development and implementation of safety and emergency preparedness plans
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including OSHA and WISHA
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as risk management or business administration
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in risk management, business insurance, or occupational health and safety
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective risk management strategies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to diverse audiences
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines
