Job Title: Vice President, Financial Systems

At AEG, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Financial Systems to join our team. As a key member of our finance leadership team, you will be responsible for managing and executing the strategic direction for our accounting and finance systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the day-to-day operations of finance systems, including NetSuite ERP, Oracle EPM, and other applications, to establish an integrated technology platform for Finance.
  • Administer user access, including onboarding, offboarding, and overall access control for all finance systems.
  • Manage ongoing maintenance, including data/configuration changes, vendor updates, and the related documentation and business communications.
  • Oversee and coordinate new feature recommendations, software releases, troubleshooting, and system integrations.
  • Monitor financial system-related internal controls, processes, and policies.
  • Monitor usage and system performance.
  • Develop tests, functional testing, and rollout of customizations, custom objects, new enhancements, application releases, and system integration based on user/business needs.
  • Support development of new reports, input templates, custom dashboards, saved searches, and other user tools.
  • Develop user guides, conduct training, and provide user support.
  • Support continuous improvement of financial tools, systems, and processes that will effectively scale with the company's growth.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for financial applications and liaison to IT in partnership on enterprise application projects and roadmap.
  • Manage 3rd party service providers and software vendors.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of NetSuite experience as an administrator or super user.
  • NetSuite training or certification required.
  • Working knowledge of csv imports, user provisioning, defining roles, analytics, and scheduling scripts.
  • Experience with applications in the finance domain (e.g., close consolidation & management, treasury software, tax software, AP solutions, etc.).
  • Understanding of the NetSuite stack and experience with all NetSuite modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Advanced Projects, etc.).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good project management skills and understanding of interrelationships of business processes.
  • 5-7 years at the director level or above in leading teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills required.
  • Strong documentation experience in processes.
  • Ability to execute detailed specifications from high-level requirements.
  • Ability to collaborate and build cross-functional partnerships across the organization.
