Job Title: Brand Consulting Vice President - Hospitality

Creative Artists Agency (CAA) is a leading entertainment and sports agency with global expertise in various fields. We are seeking a Brand Consulting Vice President - Hospitality to lead our team focused on an iconic telecom brand's B2B hospitality service offering.

The Role

The successful candidate will drive the strategy, oversight, management, and execution of all tickets and hospitality-based programming, including ticket banks, season tickets, concert & event passes, and suite programs across multiple venues. They will be responsible for overseeing the allocation of all sponsorship hospitality assets, ensuring equitable distribution across employees and customers, and building large-scale hospitality programs at sponsored events.

Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with clients on the development and project management of custom large-scale hospitality programs in conjunction with major sponsorship platforms.
  2. Assess and refine processes across all workstreams to improve efficiency and effectiveness, providing feedback and recommendations to senior management and regular reports on performance and feedback.
  3. Implement management routines and protocols to foster an environment for thoughtful ideation, critical review, and transparent communication of program updates across teams and clients.
  4. Develop relationships with clients as a trusted advisor, driving business and projects forward.
  5. Continually improve the end-to-end client experience, ensuring all attendee touchpoints across the entire event lifecycle are delivered with the highest level of quality and consistency.
  6. Oversee the design and planning of a wide range of event types, including national, scalable, sports, and entertainment-based events from high-touch executive events to experiential hospitality for consumer-facing audiences.
  7. Interact with senior-level, C-suite executives to help clients retain, deepen relationships, and show appreciation for existing clients.
  8. Ensure efficiencies are established and followed for all pre-planning, management, and implementation for events, including vendor vetting and selection, contract review and negotiation, and requisite event activation plans and supporting communication documents.
  9. Oversee clients' online ticketing request and distribution platforms to track multiple sporting and entertainment events containing over 30,000 tickets.
  10. A moderate amount of domestic event travel will be required throughout the year, including nights and weekends.
  11. Create presentations for key meetings internally and externally.
  12. Develop relationships across CAA to find and promote new opportunities to clients.
  13. Oversee a team of 10-15 dedicated hospitality team members based in different offices around the US.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 12-15+ years of experience in ticketing, hospitality, event planning, and execution in a fast-paced environment. They should have a general understanding of the current brand consulting and experiential/hospitality marketing industry, breadth of experience planning and managing B2B programs, and a passion for hospitality, sports, and entertainment, celebrity, and lifestyle culture.

The candidate should be able to prioritize multiple projects with ease, manage deadlines, coordinate key timelines, and perform under pressure with strong attention to detail. They should be willing to 'pitch in,' 'roll up their sleeves,' and get it done, taking initiative and not being afraid of tasks of any size. A solid understanding of how to plan and orchestrate engaging events in a scalable way is also essential.

The ideal candidate should be flexible, adaptable, and confident with ambiguity while course-correcting based on evolving decisions and circumstances. They should have demonstrated experience in positions requiring discretion, judgment, tact, and poise and be absolutely reliable and trustworthy. The ability to lead client meetings, staff planning, and keep all parties on task, on time, and on budget is also required. Strong fiscal approach with excellent budget management and forecasting skills is a must. Strong on-site execution experience and oversight of multiple vendors are also essential. Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including weekend and holiday travel, is required. Proficiency in PowerPoint for experiential decks and run-of-show planning purposes is preferred.
