Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CRM/Email/SMS Strategy Manager to spearhead a team of direct reports and drive strategic initiatives for our rapidly growing brands. This pivotal position will focus on formulating account strategies and enhancing our service offerings, while also fostering thought leadership and talent development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee, mentor, and cultivate a team of strategists and analysts engaged in multi-faceted client projects.
2. Facilitate structured and productive discussions with team members to promote account growth, address challenges, and explore professional development opportunities.
3. Contribute to agency projects and resource libraries, actively seeking ways to enhance team effectiveness.
4. Craft tailored marketing strategies and programs for a portfolio of B2C brands, establishing trust and nurturing relationships with clients and partners.
5. Serve as the primary escalation point for complex client issues, both for your clients and your team.
6. Analyze client data to uncover strategic opportunities and formulate marketing plans.
7. Lead and develop cross-functional teams, including creatives, data scientists, producers, and marketers, to create and execute strategic plans and client roadmaps.
8. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to team members to ensure successful project outcomes.
9. Collaborate with departmental leaders to enhance internal capabilities and establish effective methodologies and best practices.
10. Negotiate annual contracts with clients.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a digital strategist or marketer, either on the client or agency side.
- In-depth knowledge in at least two of the following areas: retail, email, social media, and search.
- A bachelor's degree or higher is required.
- Proven success in developing and executing marketing strategies that yield measurable results.
- Experience in team development and growth.
- Strong understanding of the interconnections between strategy, branding, marketing, product, data, and technology.
- Exceptional data analysis and storytelling abilities to engage and gain the trust of client executives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A curious mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to influence others while navigating ambiguity.
