POSITION SUMMARY:
The Guest Services Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring guest satisfaction through exceptional customer service. This position involves assisting guests with valet parking and luggage transport during their stay. The role requires adherence to the service standards set by BlueWater Resort & Casino while completing assigned responsibilities throughout all shifts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet guests warmly with eye contact and a smile, embodying the welcoming spirit of BlueWater Resort & Casino.
- Enhance operational efficiency by assisting guests with their luggage, providing information, and delivering friendly, attentive service.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of property activities, room rates, types, and events to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Assist guests in navigating to and from their rooms and public areas, ensuring luggage is secured with appropriate tagging.
- Provide essential safety, security, and emergency information to guests and fellow employees as required.
- Adhere to the rules and regulations of BlueWater Resort & Casino and comply with all Federal, State, and Tribal laws.
- Maintain a safe working environment by following company and OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including non-gaming functions, as permitted by the issued gaming license.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill each essential duty effectively. The following qualifications are essential:
- Comprehensive knowledge of company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.
- Ability to collaborate with a team to deliver outstanding guest service.
- Proficiency in driving various vehicle types.
- Familiarity with Parker and the surrounding area.
- Awareness of BlueWater Resort & Casino events and promotions.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record, as verified by a Motor Vehicle Report, are required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The physical demands outlined here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
- Ability to lift up to fifty pounds.
- Capability to stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold.
- Ability to continuously enter and exit vehicles.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
A fast-paced work environment with numerous variables that contribute to daily challenges. Involves close collaboration with other staff members and interactions with hotel/resort guests.
