Position Summary:

The Mixologist delivers exceptional service to guests in a vibrant casino atmosphere while ensuring compliance with all regulations regarding the responsible service of alcoholic beverages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responds to guest inquiries regarding the menu.
  • Maintains an extensive knowledge of beverage options and food pairings.
  • Stays updated on current trends and demonstrates proficiency in both classic and innovative drink preparation techniques.
  • Ensures a seamless service experience for guests and collaborates effectively with servers.
  • Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area to ensure a safe environment for guests.
  • Promotes premium beverage selections to enhance guest experience.
  • Monitors guest behavior for signs of intoxication and responds appropriately.
  • Anticipates guest needs and provides personalized service.
  • Delivers prompt, friendly, and professional service while communicating clearly.
  • Records all transactions accurately in the point-of-sale system.
  • Ensures timely delivery of food and beverage orders.
  • Maintains high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Ensures cleanliness of ashtrays and bar tops.
  • Stocks bar supplies as needed.
  • Handles guest payments accurately.
  • Maintains a professional appearance at all times.
  • Exhibits a courteous demeanor towards guests and team members.
  • Communicates effectively and respectfully with all individuals.
  • Addresses guest concerns promptly and escalates issues to management when necessary.
  • Maintains excellent attendance and flexibility to work various shifts.
  • Adheres to all applicable liquor laws and company policies.
  • Completes all required training and certifications.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the following:
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on positive interactions.
  • Proficiency in cash handling and basic math.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant setting is essential.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of wines and spirits is preferred.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must obtain and maintain necessary health and safety certifications.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • All employees must secure a valid gaming license.
  • Adherence to health and safety guidelines is mandatory.
Work Environment:

This position is primarily indoors, with potential exposure to varying noise levels and environmental conditions. Employees may encounter second-hand smoke and must be prepared to manage challenging guest interactions.
