Our esteemed client, a prominent law firm, is seeking to enhance their Minneapolis litigation team by adding a Legal Administrative Assistant. This role is crucial for the effective functioning of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and confident individual with a robust background in administrative functions.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive administrative assistance to various attorneys and timekeepers.
  • Organize and uphold legal documentation, encompassing case files, pleadings, and correspondence.
  • Draft and refine legal documents, ensuring precision and compliance with deadlines.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, court appearances, and depositions.
  • Manage attorney schedules, monitor deadlines, and arrange travel as necessary.
  • Support billing operations, including time entry and invoice processing.
  • Serve as a primary contact for clients, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Regularly apply independent judgment in prioritizing and executing tasks.
  • Quickly adapt to changing priorities and excel in a deadline-oriented environment.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • 4-8 years of prior experience in an administrative role is essential.
  • Experience within a law firm or corporate legal department is preferred; litigation experience is advantageous.
  • Some college education is preferred; a background in legal studies or paralegal studies is a plus.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills, exceptional organizational capabilities, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a proactive business approach are required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

WORK SCHEDULE: Full-Time; Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
