Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Account Representative to join our team. As an Account Representative, you will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with existing customers, as well as identifying new business opportunities. Your primary responsibilities will include establishing customer relationships, providing prompt and accurate customer service, developing leads, scheduling appointments, and marketing appropriate products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- People-oriented, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated, with a desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Detailed-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
