POSITION: MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS MANAGER

ABOUT THE ROLE: As a Manufacturing Operations Manager at Headway Technologies, you will play a crucial role in guaranteeing that quality, efficiency, yield, and cost targets are consistently achieved. You will lead a team of operators, technicians, and supervisors, implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and assess quality controls to uphold standards. This position involves overseeing daily operations and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

  • Directs and supervises the team’s activities, evaluates performance, and makes personnel decisions
  • Sets workforce objectives and collaborates with staffing and production supervisors for hiring
  • Creates, implements, and tracks Key Performance Indicators for production and quality objectives
  • Regularly prepares and presents operational reports
  • Ensures adherence to manufacturing standards and identifies opportunities for enhancement
  • Works closely with maintenance teams for equipment qualification and repairs
  • Manages multiple product flows and resolves production challenges from other departments
  • Identifies process inefficiencies and suggests improvements for operational effectiveness
  • Follows safety regulations and procedures

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Manufacturing, or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of five years in semiconductor manufacturing
  • At least two years in a leadership role within a production setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Knowledge of supervisory principles and the semiconductor industry
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Statistical Process Control
  • Ability to analyze data, communicate effectively, and collaborate with teams
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and adaptability
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

SALARY INFORMATION: The annual base salary for this role ranges from $111,276.00 to $163,000, with a bonus target and benefits, depending on responsibilities, skills, and experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The Manufacturing Operations Manager operates in an office setting, may require movement between locations, and works in a cleanroom environment. There may be exposure to noise and hazardous materials, along with physical demands such as standing, walking, and computer use.
