Job Summary:

The Restaurant Operations Coordinator provides critical support to the restaurant management team by handling a variety of administrative tasks while upholding the high standards of Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist management with daily administrative tasks, including purchasing, ordering, invoicing, scheduling, records control, and filing.
  • Process new hire and employee change paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile operational paperwork, including guest receipts and vendor invoices.
  • Collaborate with staff and management to ensure proper cost controls and inventory levels.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures at all times.
  • Develop and execute special projects and assignments as assigned by the management team.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering telephone calls from guests.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree preferred or 2 years of previous work experience in an administrative function within the hospitality industry.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications and systems, including hardware and software.
  • Open availability and professional presentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent guest service and hospitality skills, with a professional presentation.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks while maintaining standards of operations.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures, including email etiquette, file management, record keeping, and template creation.
  • Skilled in customer service and personal service.
  • Articulate, communicative, and professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods, twist at the neck and trunk, bend at the waist, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, reach overhead, above shoulders, and horizontally. Employees will use their hands to handle objects and tools and operate service equipment. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40-pound objects. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Conditions:

This role may require evening and weekend hours. The employee generally works in an indoor front-of-house and kitchen environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may be loud dependent on the specific work site and/or equipment operation.
