Role Overview
As a Technical Sales Engineer focusing on Industrial Production, your primary goal will be to drive sales within the Automotive Production and General Industry sectors across designated territories. This position is pivotal in engaging with Automotive Systems Integrators, Tier I, and Tier II OEMs, targeting essential clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to technical inquiries, pricing requests, delivery timelines, and service questions from clients.
- Provide expert advice on the optimal use of Kistler products within the Automotive Production and General Industry sectors.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to devise and implement a customized sales strategy aimed at penetrating Tier I and II Automotive OEMs and Systems Integrators.
- Identify emerging application opportunities and unique market demands, working closely with the Sales Manager and Application Experts to deliver tailored solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in Industrial Production products and applications to offer informed support to clients.
- Prepare precise and competitive pricing quotations and project proposals, ensuring alignment with client needs and company objectives.
- Actively participate in industry events such as exhibitions, conferences, and association meetings to promote Kistler products and cultivate new business opportunities.
- Provide on-site support to clients, including product installation and training for engineers and technicians, ensuring successful implementation and utilization of Kistler products.
- Showcase expertise at trade shows to effectively market Kistler products and attract potential clients.
- Build strong relationships with clients to gain insights into their product requirements and preferences, facilitating personalized service and support.

Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 5 years of technical sales experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time, including occasional airline travel and international trips for training.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the application of force, pressure, and torque transducers, along with associated electronics, software, and controls in manufacturing processes.
- Strong knowledge of electro-mechanical systems and assembly operations.
