Job Title: Member Service Representative

The Member Service Representative is a vital role at the YMCA of South Florida, serving as the face of our organization and embodying the values of service excellence. This position is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring seamless front desk operations, and contributing to the achievement of monthly sales and retention goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing member inquiries, and resolving concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with membership sales, program registrations, and general office duties, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for members and staff.
  • Work closely with the Membership Operations Director to ensure standard delivery of the Association Membership Agenda.
  • Implement Membership engagement strategies and initiatives, promoting membership growth and retention.
  • Contribute to a safe and clean environment at the Membership desk, adhering to YMCA of South Florida safety rules and practices.
Requirements:
  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service or sales experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to address difficult member situations in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with experience in standard business software.
  • Bi-lingual, English and Spanish language a plus.
