Western International Gas & Cylinders is on the lookout for a Regional Sales Executive to enhance our dynamic team.

The Regional Sales Executive (RSE) will oversee all sales and expansion initiatives for the dry ice sector within their designated region. This role requires collaboration across various departments, including our branches and production teams, to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of dry ice to our clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and surpass corporate goals related to safety and profitable growth within the assigned region.
  • Utilize software tools to initiate, track, and document outreach to potential business clients.
  • Prepare and deliver precise and timely reports.
  • Manage travel expenditures effectively while fulfilling personalized training obligations.
  • Adhere to company policies regarding safety, administration, and quality standards.
  • Draft quotes, proposals, and contracts for client approval.
  • Build and nurture customer relationships by gaining a comprehensive understanding of their business needs and fostering a consultative partnership.
  • Negotiate new and existing agreements with clients.
  • Drive business growth by collaborating with commercial teams, product management, and contract administration.
  • Manage a portfolio by collecting feedback from various organizational sectors.
  • Facilitate communication and support between our clients and prospects.
  • Provide initial product and application support to customers and prospects.
  • Assist with accounts receivable when necessary.
  • Promote additional offerings from Western during the sales process.
  • Collaborate with internal resources to meet growth targets.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication with internal departments regarding customer success, opportunity details, and development processes.
  • Oversee contract lifecycles, including price reviews and quarterly business assessments.
  • Support customer initiatives, new business development, contract negotiations, and service requirements.
  • Maintain opportunities, contact information, and sales activities in CRM systems.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and monitor competitors by gathering current market data.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and facilitate introductions to other team members.
  • Submit comprehensive business documentation to the contract administration team for processing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: 7-9 years of professional sales experience with a proven track record of high performance. Experience in Dry Ice/CO2 products and B2C accounts is preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; understanding of industrial gas products and related applications; knowledge of Six Sigma and lean manufacturing practices; excellent communication and writing abilities.
  • Licenses: Valid Driver's License required.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to travel 40-60% for client meetings and corporate engagements.
