Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Business Development Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively contacting clients and prospects to identify new business opportunities, growing sales and profitability within their allocated region or industry portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development
    • Regularly liaise with existing clients to identify new business opportunities
    • Support new business development for the Dallas laboratory
    • Identify new opportunities for lab and on-site calibrations, asset management services, validation services, or to extend our existing service
  • Sales and Marketing
    • Progressively manage an opportunity pipeline within our CRM platform with existing or new accounts, closing all possible opportunities to achieve revenues in line with targets
    • Ensure that all clients understand the services on offer from Trescal
    • Lead RFQ/RFP processes within their portfolio or identified account prospects
  • Project Management
    • Project manage the roll out of new contracts and services
  • Reporting and Communication
    • Provide detailed information and reports to the VP Sales on a regular basis
    • Liaise daily with other members of the sales team and the internal organization to provide information and ensure that customers receive excellent customer service

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, sales, or related field. Relevant experience in lieu of a degree will be considered
  • Minimum of three years' experience in a similar field
  • Knowledge of the Calibration & Testing market would be a distinct advantage
  • Previous Experience within the Aerospace, Life Sciences, or Electronic Manufacturing industries is strongly preferred
  • Must have excellent analytical, organizational, and verbal skills, as well as written persuasion and presentation skills, and be detail-oriented
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential
  • Previous experience of working with a CRM platform would be an advantage
  • Must be able to interact effectively and cooperatively with all internal departments

Desirable Skills

  • Steady under pressure with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to meet deadlines and targets as the role is results-driven
  • Ability to travel as the role will be based throughout the assigned region and will require regular overnight stays
