Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Housing Facilities Coordinator who will contribute to creating a safe, functional, and appealing living and learning environment within university housing.

Key Responsibilities
This role involves the delivery and installation of furniture, coordination of bed lofting, and assistance in organizing and auditing storage inventories. The coordinator will also be responsible for assessing and addressing concerns related to furnishings in residence halls and common areas of university apartments.

The Housing Facilities Coordinator plays a vital role in the daily operations of housing facilities, ensuring quality control and facilitating health and safety inspections. This position supports logistical activities such as contractor access, deliveries, moves, and relocations necessary for On-Campus Living.

Specific Duties Include:
- Conducting inspections to document and report any safety or security issues.
- Monitoring cleanliness and maintenance standards in housing facilities.
- Performing building inspections as part of a quality assurance initiative, checking for vandalism and damages, and managing open work orders.
- Organizing and tracking inventory in storage rooms, including furniture and supplies.
- Following up on maintenance requests and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Assisting with the logistics of staff and student relocations.
- Managing deliveries for housing facilities operations.
- Completing administrative tasks as directed by the Housing Facilities Team, ensuring meticulous record-keeping.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience; additional education may substitute for experience as permitted by the university's equivalency policy.

Skills and Abilities
- Proficient understanding of facility operations and maintenance.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in crisis management.
- Excellent resource management and self-awareness of strengths and weaknesses.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
