Position: Residential Rehabilitation Assistant

Classification: Direct Care

Role Summary:

At David's Loft Clinical Programs, our achievements are driven by our dedicated staff and effective processes. We are currently looking for a remarkable Residential Rehabilitation Assistant who will play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable adults through their daily rehabilitation activities. This position involves ensuring safety, providing assistance, and meticulously documenting client care within a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver rehabilitation services to adult clients facing co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges.
  2. Comply with all relevant state, local, and federal regulations.
  3. Respond appropriately to emergencies in line with established agency protocols.
  4. Facilitate mentorship and support for individuals in the residential program, including both group and one-on-one interactions.
  5. Oversee medication management as dictated by treatment plans or physician directives.
  6. Ensure active participation of clients in their treatment plans and adherence to schedules.
  7. Supervise and monitor daily activities of residents.
  8. Maintain detailed documentation of resident progress and behaviors.
  9. Perform necessary administrative duties.
  10. Engage in ongoing training and professional development.
  11. Conduct assessments and provide constructive feedback to clients, their families, and the medical team.
  12. Guarantee that all individuals receive high-quality support and care consistently.
  13. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership to further the mission and values of DLCP.

Qualifications:

  1. Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable adult populations.
  2. Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist is required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
  3. Strong time management abilities with a capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
  4. Attention to detail and adept problem-solving skills.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
  6. Strong organizational and planning skills.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  8. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  9. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Reporting Structure:

This position reports to the Program Director and Operations Manager.

Physical Requirements:

Candidates must be able to sit and stand for extended periods and lift a minimum of 10 lbs.
