Position Summary:
At David's Loft Clinical Programs, our achievements are driven by dedicated individuals and effective processes. We are in search of a Program Assistant who will play a crucial role in supporting our operations. The ideal candidate should have a background in behavioral health, particularly in assisting individuals facing mental health challenges, substance use issues, or co-occurring disorders. The successful applicant must demonstrate strong situational awareness, sound judgment, and exceptional communication skills to ensure the well-being of our clients.
Employment Status: Non-Exempt
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver rehabilitation services within a residential environment to adult clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
- Provide guidance and support to participants in the residential program through group activities and individualized sessions.
- Oversee medication management in accordance with treatment plans or physician directives.
- Engage treatment participants in their recovery process and ensure adherence to treatment schedules.
- Supervise and monitor daily activities of clients.
- Coordinate laundry services to maintain cleanliness for residents.
- Prepare accommodations for new clients entering the program.
- Assist clients in accessing entitlements and benefits.
- Facilitate conflict resolution as necessary to uphold patient safety and compliance with program standards.
- Prepare meals to meet the nutritional requirements of clients.
- Work on a flexible schedule as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the mission, values, and vision of David's Loft Clinical Programs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to pass federal and state background checks.
- Experience in supporting individuals with substance use and mental health disorders.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Attention to detail coupled with problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities.
- This position operates on a flexible schedule.
Reporting Structure:
Reports to the Program Director/Operations Manager.
Physical Requirements:
Must be capable of sitting and standing for 20 minutes and lifting a minimum of 10 lbs.
