About The Commissary
We are a professional kitchen seeking a skilled Head Baker to lead our baking program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of bread and pastries, managing inventory, and coordinating staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bread Production: Develop and execute a comprehensive bread production plan, ensuring high-quality products for our kitchen and grab-and-go sales.
- Staff Management: Coordinate and organize staff schedules, production, and work division to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, place orders, and maintain a well-stocked bakery.
Requirements:
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with a strong focus on discipline, responsibility, and teamwork.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using specialized equipment, such as Combi ovens and large mixers.
- Initiative and Creativity: Ability to propose improvements and implement changes to enhance our baking program.
- Documentation: Provide documentation to certify your experience, such as letters of recommendation or educational certificates.
- Conflict Resolution: Strong conflict resolution skills to maintain a healthy and safe work environment.
- Pressure Management: Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
