The ideal candidate will possess a deep knowledge and enthusiasm for all aspects of pastry, from crafting delightful desserts and gelatos to the art of plating and creating mignardises.
Quince is recognized as a Three Michelin Star establishment, celebrated for its California contemporary cuisine that draws inspiration from Italian culinary traditions. Our menus are meticulously crafted to reflect the seasonal bounty of local produce, much of which is sourced from our own farm.
Cotogna, our neighborhood gem, offers a menu that evolves with the seasons, featuring house-made pasta, grilled meats, wood-fired pizzas, and local seafood, all paired with a curated selection of organic wines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of pastry items for both Quince and Cotogna
- Support the Executive Pastry Chef in all back-of-house operations, aligning with the culinary vision of the restaurants
- Manage kitchen labor and inventory effectively
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in all kitchen areas
Qualifications:
- Culinary degree preferred, but not mandatory
- Minimum one year of experience as a Sous Chef in a similar environment
- Ability to adhere to all health and safety regulations
