Sales Department Overview

The Sales team serves as the foundation of Vantage, engaging with clients throughout the entire sales cycle. This team plays a vital role in connecting different internal departments and external partners to ensure customer satisfaction and strengthen the company's market position.

Position Summary

This role is remote within the United States.

The Vice President of Hyperscale Sales for North America will spearhead a significant Hyperscale account at Vantage Data Centers, managing all phases of business acquisition from relationship cultivation to lease finalization. This position requires establishing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to drive sales achievements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Formulate and implement the overarching strategy for the designated hyperscale account.
  • Oversee all sales initiatives and leasing outcomes related to the target account.
  • Relationship Development: Build and sustain customer and technical relationships within the account.
  • Sales Forecasting: Provide accurate revenue forecasts and ensure consistent achievement of sales quotas.
  • Collaboration: Foster relationships with internal teams and participate in RFP processes.
  • Team Management: Guide and mentor Account Managers assigned to the designated account.
  • Contract Oversight: Serve as the primary contact for lease evaluations and facilitate product discussions.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Engineering is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10-15 years of management experience in a relevant field is essential.
  • Skills: Proven ability to drive departmental performance, exceptional communication skills, and a willingness to travel are necessary.
