Position Summary

Your Responsibilities:

Instructional Duties:
  • Deliver assigned classes effectively.
  • Develop detailed lesson plans and instructional materials.
  • Evaluate students objectively regarding their academic performance.
  • Implement instructional strategies effectively, supplementing approved materials as needed.
  • Safeguard assessment tools and confidential records.
  • Utilize and oversee learning management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with class duration requirements.

Student Interaction:
  • Create a supportive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
  • Serve as a professional role model.
  • Provide constructive feedback on student performance and behavior.
  • Communicate student concerns to the Program Director.
  • Maintain accurate records of student grades and attendance.
  • Facilitate tutoring and makeup work as necessary.
  • Guide students to appropriate resources for additional support.
  • Enforce institutional policies and procedures.

Additional Duties:
  • Maintain accurate records and stay updated on current teaching methodologies.
  • Engage in ongoing faculty and professional development activities.
  • Participate in workshops, seminars, and meetings to enhance instructional skills.
  • Assist with graduation ceremonies and campus events.
  • Support inventory management and organization of supplies.
  • Ensure a clean and orderly classroom environment.
  • Assist with the maintenance of equipment and technology.
  • Contribute to a positive campus culture.
  • Support other departments as needed.

Your Qualifications:
  • RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) Credential.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in Respiratory Therapy.
  • Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy.
  • Current state license or certification in Respiratory Therapy.
  • Compliance with all regulatory and corporate standards.
  • Prior teaching experience is preferred.
