Position: Engineering Project Manager

Overview

As an Engineering Project Manager at Rose International, you will oversee the design and execution of connector projects within our Product Design division. Your role will involve coordinating with engineering teams to ensure the successful development and implementation of various connectors (such as USB, HDMI, Power, Lightning, etc.) for a diverse range of client products. You will be instrumental in driving daily operations to achieve program goals while emphasizing mechanical engineering design, planning, and validation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily project activities to align with overall objectives and timelines from development through to production.
  • Facilitate the development process by establishing an efficient workflow within the team.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules.
  • Effectively allocate resources to ensure timely project completion.
  • Prioritize tasks across multiple complex programs.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious cost, schedule, and quality targets.
  • Lead communication efforts between various project teams and external partners, implementing risk mitigation strategies and ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
  • Provide clear status updates and highlight challenges to relevant stakeholders.
  • Address technical challenges and drive resolutions by engaging key decision-makers.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional communication, organizational, presentation, and leadership abilities.
  • Proficient in filtering and presenting relevant information to diverse audiences.
  • Self-driven and proactive with strong critical thinking skills.
  • Familiarity with rapid development cycles and adaptability in uncertain situations.
  • Ability to identify challenges and formulate improved strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of product development processes and a solid understanding of manufacturing practices.
  • Experience collaborating with product design, operations, cross-functional teams, and managing international suppliers.
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in project management and mechanical engineering, focusing on high-quality product delivery.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
