Position Title: Engineering Project Manager

Overview:

As an Engineering Project Manager at Rose International, you will oversee the design and execution of connector products within our engineering teams. This role involves steering the development process for various connectors (such as USB, HDMI, Power, Lightning, etc.) across multiple client products, ensuring that daily operations align with the overarching program goals while concentrating on mechanical engineering design, development planning, and validation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations to achieve project timelines and objectives from development through to ramp-up.
  • Facilitate the development process by establishing an efficient workflow within the team.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules.
  • Effectively allocate resources to ensure timely project execution.
  • Prioritize tasks across various programs with differing complexities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and cross-functional teams to meet stringent cost, schedule, and quality goals.
  • Lead communication efforts among diverse project teams and external partners, implementing risk mitigation strategies and resolving issues promptly.
  • Provide clear status updates and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • Address technical challenges by uniting key stakeholders for informed decision-making.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication, organizational, presentation, and leadership abilities.
  • Capability to distill complex information for various audiences.
  • Self-driven and proactive with proven critical thinking skills.
  • Familiarity with rapid development cycles and adaptability in uncertain situations.
  • Ability to identify challenges and formulate improved strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of product development and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Experience collaborating with product design, operations, cross-functional teams, and managing international vendors.
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of combined experience in project management and mechanical engineering, delivering high-quality products made from diverse materials.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.
