The iCloud program team is in search of an exceptional Engineering Program Manager who possesses a profound technical acumen and a passion for executing complex, cross-functional initiatives in a dynamic setting.

This role involves spearheading and managing programs within the Apple Account and Family domain, overseeing the setup and coordination of essential Apple Account services, including iCloud and iTunes across all Apple devices, Sign in with Apple, iCloud Family creation and management, and subscription sharing among family members.

Key Responsibilities:
This role demands a blend of technical insight and business intuition, coupled with robust program management expertise.

We seek an individual who can drive, manage, and deliver all facets of large-scale, multi-functional projects and feature areas. You will collaborate with engineering teams throughout the entire feature development lifecycle, from architecture and design to implementation and validation. The ideal Engineering Program Manager will proactively identify, prioritize, and resolve program challenges.

You will also present new feature initiatives, key issues, risks, and significant achievements to executive leadership while working alongside cross-functional teams across Apple to ensure alignment of the roadmap across various business lines.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in project, product, or program management in areas such as cloud services, software development, or operations.
  • Deep understanding of the software product lifecycle and the ability to lead projects from inception to completion using Agile methodologies.
  • Proven capability to collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams, secure buy-in, and excel in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment.
  • Technical curiosity and a willingness to engage in technical discussions with engineering partners.
  • Experience in driving and delivering critical project features that involve collaboration with multiple teams across Apple.
  • Adept at utilizing data from various sources to derive insights and make informed decisions regarding programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in shipping consumer software at a large scale, utilized by millions of users.
  • Previous experience working in product areas alongside Human Interface / UI / UX partners.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Compensation & Benefits:
At Apple, base pay is one component of our comprehensive compensation package and is determined within a specified range.

The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, with your base pay influenced by your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Additionally, employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
