Clinical Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Counselor Supervisor to join our team at BayMark Health Services. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality counseling services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Provide clinical supervision and guidance to our team of counselors and counselor interns, ensuring they have the support and resources needed to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Performance Management: Manage the performance of all counseling staff, including facilitating performance improvement discussions and documentation, to ensure our team is meeting the highest standards.
- Caseload Management: Assign and adjust caseloads as necessary to ensure efficient and effective delivery of counseling services, ensuring our patients receive the best possible care.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor treatment and counseling of all patients, including conducting quality assurance file reviews, to ensure our services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Patient Screening: Screen potential patients and determine eligibility for services, ensuring we provide the right support to those who need it most.
- Intake Process: Facilitate intakes and assist with the intake process, ensuring our patients receive a seamless and supportive experience.
- Incident Reporting: Conduct quality assurance file reviews and assist with completing incident reports, ensuring we learn from any incidents and improve our services.
- Assessment and Treatment Planning: Review and countersign assessments and treatment plans for quality and accuracy, ensuring our patients receive the best possible care.
- Staff Development: Assist with interviews for open positions and provide new hire training, ensuring our team is equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Staff Support: Participate in staff meetings and provide guidance and support to counselors needing licensure and/or certification, ensuring our team is supported and empowered to deliver their best work.
- Training and Development: Oversee counselor-related annual trainings and ensure trainings are completed, ensuring our team stays up-to-date with the latest best practices and research.
- Employee Performance: Facilitate employee performance discussions and evaluations, ensuring our team is meeting the highest standards of performance and quality.
- Communication: Communicate clinic, employee, and patient concerns to employees and leadership, ensuring we address any issues promptly and effectively.
- Program Development: Assist in program development activities, ensuring our services are aligned with the latest research and best practices.
- Code of Conduct: Adhere to a code of conduct conducive with BayMark Services policy, ensuring we maintain the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.
- Service Standards: Meet or exceed delivery of Company Service Standards in a consistent fashion, ensuring our patients receive the best possible care and experience.
- Travel: Travel as necessary, ensuring we can provide our services to patients in a timely and effective manner.
- Education: Masters Degree in Behavioral Science required; LICSW or LMHC required; MSW preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in addiction treatment and case management.
- Supervisory Experience: Must have 1 year of supervisory experience, be self-motivated, and directed.
- Attitude and Skills: Positive attitude toward our chemically dependent patients and previous experience working with this population.
- Credentials: Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
