We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Director to oversee our team of counselors and counselor interns at BayMark Health Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality counseling services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to counselors and counselor interns
- Manage the performance of all counseling staff, including facilitating performance improvement discussions and documentation
- Clinical Operations
- Assign and adjust caseloads as necessary to ensure efficient and effective delivery of counseling services
- Monitor treatment and counseling of all patients, including conducting quality assurance file reviews
- Staff Development and Training
- Review and countersign assessments and treatment plans for quality and accuracy for counselor interns
- Assist with interviews for open positions and provide new hire training
- Oversee counselor-related annual trainings and ensure trainings are completed
- Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate clinic, employee, and patient concerns to employees and leadership
- Participate in staff meetings and provide guidance and support to counselors needing licensure and/or certification
- Masters Degree in Behavioral Science required; LICSW or LMHC required; MSW preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in addiction treatment and case management
- Must have 1 year of supervisory experience, be self-motivated, and directed
- Positive attitude toward our chemically dependent patients and previous experience working with this population
- Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check
