We are seeking a skilled speech-language pathologist to join our team at Pittsylvania County Schools. As a speech-language pathologist, you will assess and treat students with speech and language disorders.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' communication skills
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language deficits
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure seamless integration of therapy into the classroom
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and goals
Requirements:
- Must hold proper state certification/licensure including a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Applicants must be licensed by the Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology
- Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with school personnel, students, and parents
