Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Chatham, VA. This part-time contract position is ideal for an individual who is passionate about helping students reach their full potential through speech and language therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted therapy plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups, focusing on essential skills such as articulation, phonology, fluency, language comprehension, and expressive language.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • A valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience working with children in a school or clinical setting, demonstrating your ability to create engaging and effective therapy sessions.
Compensation and Benefits
