Project Manager - Capital Equipment Expert

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead the execution and oversight of multiple projects for our client in the Bohemia, NY area. This direct hire role offers a unique opportunity to expand your project management career within a state-of-the-art technology organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary point of contact for customer and responsible for overseeing customer expectations, communication, and client satisfaction.
  • Review and manage customer commercial terms and conditions to ensure all terms are acceptable to both organizations.
  • Ensure project designs and deliverables meet the defined scope of work, technical proposal outlines, and customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to develop and implement a budget and schedule for each project.
  • Monitor task completion, purchasing, and material control to ensure all work is completed according to schedule and budget.
  • Raise red flags for any deviations or potential issues.
  • Manage project subcontractors, fabricators, and vendors in accordance with project SOW.
  • Manage schedules and budgets aligned with customer requirements.
  • Prepare weekly reports for management and stakeholders to summarize project progress against budget and schedule.
  • Work with the sales team to understand project scope and pricing.
  • Interact with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure proper management, execution, and completion of projects.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or other applicable technical discipline.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks and MS Office Suite.
  • Proven proficiency in MS Project and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Minimum five years of project management experience with at least two years of concentration on budgeting, cost management, and commercial terms oversight.
  • Minimum two years of experience managing capital equipment projects.
  • Experience working in the x-ray or non-destructive testing (NDT) market is highly preferred.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $140,000 annually, along with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k + match, and PTO.
