At VJ Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee the execution of multiple capital equipment system projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects from receipt of purchase order through customer acceptance, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer expectations, communication, and satisfaction as the primary point of contact.
  • Review and negotiate commercial terms and conditions with customers, ensuring alignment with Company norms.
  • Ensure project designs and deliverables meet defined scope of work, technical proposals, and customer specifications.
  • Develop and disseminate project budgets and schedules, monitoring task completion and material control.
  • Manage subcontractors, fabricators, and vendors according to project SOW, schedules, budgets, and customer requirements.
  • Prepare weekly reports for Management, summarizing project progress against budget and schedule.
  • Deliver Company and customer-mandated project documentation and submittals on schedule.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand project scope and pricing.
  • Interact with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure proper project management, execution, and completion.
  • Travel to customer sites worldwide for concept discussions, kick-off meetings, installations, and customer relationship management.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or technical discipline.
  • Minimum five years of project management experience, with at least two years of concentration on budgeting, cost management, and commercial terms oversight.
  • At least two years of experience managing capital equipment projects.
  • Experience working with ERP or MRP systems.
  • Proficiency in establishing, negotiating, and monitoring commercial terms and conditions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment and quickly assess project status.

Preferred Skills:

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
  • Familiarity with MS AX ERP systems.
  • Experience with Solidworks.
  • Understanding or prior experience working in the x-ray or non-destructive testing (NDT) market.
  • Fluency in multiple languages.

Physical and Mental Demands:

  • Regularly required to sit, walk, bend, and stand in an industrial environment.
  • Expected to effectively communicate in person, on phone, and via email and other electronic devices.
  • Will need to repeatedly use hands to finger, handle, feel, and operate standard office equipment.
  • Day-to-day responsibilities may require lifting, moving, carrying, and maneuvering materials up to 25 pounds alone; heavier with assistance.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
