Role Overview

As a Lead Product Development Manager at PorchPass, you will take charge of the user experiences and applications within our platform. Your responsibilities will encompass product implementation and strategic influence, including conducting research, design, requirement gathering, planning, and hypothesis validation. By leveraging your industry knowledge and product vision, you will guide both internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal platform adoption and user growth. This role will primarily focus on solutions related to PorchPass credit applications, digital transformation, and interactions with pre-manufactured housing dealers, credit applicants, and loan officers. Your objective will be to enhance our solutions for better adoption through insightful analysis and effectiveness measurement of digital offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research to identify and address key challenges.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, design, and engineering teams to formulate and validate hypotheses.
  • Draft comprehensive requirements and specifications adhering to industry best practices.
  • Design and execute implementation strategies.
  • Oversee the implementation process in accordance with established plans.
  • Provide reports on product research, development, and performance metrics.
  • Manage the product backlog and prioritize features based on their impact on business and customer satisfaction.
  • Adhere to agile methodologies and ensure the team maintains agility.
  • Identify and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product success.
  • Facilitate user testing and integrate feedback to enhance product offerings.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product ownership or management within enterprise, B2B, and B2C environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or financial discipline.
  • Comprehensive understanding of full-cycle product management.
  • Experience in leading teams and collaborating across multiple departments, including engineering, design, operations, and leadership.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and drive projects to successful completion with minimal oversight.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and a data-driven decision-making approach.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with product management tools such as Clickup, Jira, Trello, or Asana.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Fintech sector.
  • Background in optimizing workflows through technology.
  • Experience in leading digital transformation projects.
  • Familiarity with agile and scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of mobile home financing or real estate finance.
  • Experience in customer journey mapping and user experience design.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field.
