Position Title: Lead Corporate Finance Strategist

Position Summary: The Lead Corporate Finance Strategist will be responsible for directing and managing the corporate finance operations, which encompass strategic financial planning, comprehensive analysis, and detailed reporting. This pivotal role requires overseeing intricate financial initiatives, delivering critical financial insights, and partnering with executive leadership to enhance financial outcomes and facilitate strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and supervise the corporate finance team, focusing on recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and career development.
  • Formulate and execute sophisticated financial strategies to align with the organization's long-term objectives, including optimizing capital structure, investment planning, and funding strategies.
  • Oversee the creation and examination of intricate financial documents, such as financial statements, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring precision and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Manage the corporate financial planning cycle, which includes long-term financial forecasting, cash flow oversight, and scenario modeling.
  • Deliver high-level financial analysis and insights, such as profitability assessments, cost control, and investment performance evaluations, to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Assess and propose investment opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, capital investments, and other strategic ventures.
  • Compile and present comprehensive financial reports and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and the board of directors, emphasizing key financial insights and their implications.
  • Monitor and mitigate financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks, while developing strategies to address these challenges.
  • Collaborate with various departments and senior management to enhance financial planning, decision-making, and overall performance improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, financial regulations, and best practices, ensuring that financial strategies and operations remain current and effective.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline; a Master's degree or CPA designation is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in corporate finance, financial planning, and analysis, with at least 5-7 years in a senior management capacity.
  • Extensive expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial planning software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel) and advanced data visualization techniques.
  • A proven history of leading and managing complex financial projects and teams, delivering impactful financial insights and solutions.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience in presenting financial strategies and reports to senior leadership and the board of directors.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, including experience in mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices in corporate finance.
