Senior Scientist, In Vivo PET Radiotracer Innovation

Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated laboratory scientist to contribute to essential PET radiotracer innovation efforts, aimed at enhancing imaging biomarker identification and development for neurological, immunological, and rare disease applications.
You will become part of a dynamic team of in vivo and in vitro researchers focused on the creation and validation of novel PET tracers in animal disease models.
The ideal candidate should be adept at collaborating within small teams and possess practical experience in early-stage preclinical radiotracer innovation. A solid understanding of disease biology is also highly advantageous. The level of the position and associated responsibilities will be aligned with your experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently design and conduct in vivo animal experiments to develop innovative PET tracers for neurological, immunological, and rare disease initiatives.
- Support projects utilizing various therapeutic approaches, including small molecules, antisense oligonucleotides, antibodies, and gene therapy.
- Oversee and troubleshoot relevant instruments and methodologies, including PET, CT, gamma counters, and more.
- Collaborate closely with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and radiation safety personnel to maintain a secure working environment.
