Associate Scientist/Scientist, In Vivo Pharmacology

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Scientist/Scientist to join our Biology-In Vivo Pharmacology team at Third Rock Ventures. As a key member of our team, you will serve as the in vivo pharmacology representative for discovery-stage pipeline programs focused on antibody-driven diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Biology team lead to contribute to lead characterization and development candidate selection
  • Manage external and internal in vivo pharmacology studies, including model development and characterization
  • Design and execute quantitative assays for the analysis/characterization of ex vivo samples (ELISA, flow cytometry)
  • Manage out-sourced CRO-based workflows, including study design and data analysis

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in a relevant scientific area, such as immunology or cell/molecular biology, with 0-3 years of experience in Biotech/Pharma pharmacology or a BA/BS in a relevant scientific area with 8+ years of experience in Biotech/Pharma industry within in vivo pharmacology
  • Extensive experience in the design and execution of in vivo studies, particularly in assessing pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (biologics experience preferred)
  • Experience in ex vivo sample analysis and data interpretation (immunophenotyping, ELISA)
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work within a dynamic matrix environment
