As the Structural Project Leader, you will oversee all aspects of structural project execution, including planning, inspection, analysis, design, technical specifications, scheduling, cost estimation, and report generation. This role offers flexibility in work location, with options available in South Hackensack, NJ or Chester, NJ.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and manage simple and complex bridge and culvert projects.
  • Engage in a variety of transportation-related structures, such as retaining walls and sign structures.
  • Work on waterfront structures and dams.
  • Oversee building and parking garage structural projects.
  • Manage pump stations and related utility authority structures.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • Possession of an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification or a Professional Engineer (PE) license in New Jersey is required.
  • Experience with NJDOT and NJ Turnpike Authority is essential.
  • A minimum of 5 years of structural design experience is required.
  • NHI Certification for Bridge Inspection Courses is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in bridge inspection and design projects is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in CADD software (AutoCAD and/or Microstation).
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
