Position Overview

We are currently looking for a Receptionist to become a vital part of our Resident Services Office at Riverside Plaza.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet visitors and staff warmly, both in person and over the phone.
  • Handle incoming calls with professionalism, ensuring proper transfer and response.
  • Collaborate with emergency services, residents, and the public to address any issues that arise.
  • Maintain a polished appearance at the front desk and uphold high standards of business etiquette during all interactions.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail; perform tasks such as copying, scanning, and sending documents.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring the safety and security of all individuals and property at Riverside Plaza.
  • Input maintenance requests into the Real Page system as necessary.
  • Complete various administrative tasks, including parking contracts and key logs, as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on operational needs.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • 1-2 years of relevant customer service experience is essential, preferably in a role focused on direct customer interaction.
  • A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong commitment to confidentiality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working with diverse populations across various economic, racial, and cultural backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in Somali, Oromo, or Arabic is advantageous.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations when interacting with both internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated judgment skills to resolve both routine and complex issues effectively.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills for monitoring, data entry, and report generation.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
Work Environment
  • This role is situated in a residential and office setting, where noise levels may vary. Employees may encounter hazards such as slips, trips, and falls.
Physical Requirements
  • Regularly required to communicate verbally and audibly. Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands are necessary. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
