The Lead Capital Markets Analyst position is integral to advancing The Ladders' strategic initiatives within the capital markets domain. The Analyst will collaborate closely with senior team members to support the firm’s investment strategies across multiple sectors, including Financial Services, Real Estate, and Corporate Credit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with deal teams to devise effective financing strategies tailored to various investment sectors.
  • Monitor and analyze market performance, industry trends, and deal technologies relevant to the firm’s investment focus.
  • Oversee the daily operations related to financing activities, ensuring timely execution and adherence to deadlines.
  • Structure, negotiate, and finalize financing and securitization agreements.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of financing structures throughout the investment lifecycle.
  • Communicate financing strategies and transaction statuses to the broader team and senior management.
  • Contribute to the development of analytical models and presentations that support capital markets initiatives.
  • Act as a representative for The Ladders, promoting the firm’s investment strategies and growth objectives.
  • Engage actively in team projects to enhance the Capital Markets function and its overall effectiveness.
Qualifications:
  • A university degree in finance, economics, or a related field is required.
  • 5-7 years of experience in capital markets, investment banking, or a similar finance role.
  • Strong understanding of finance, accounting principles, and business law.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a solid numerical aptitude.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively.
  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness.
  • Familiarity with structured financial products and fund financing mechanisms is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
  • A strong work ethic and a collaborative approach in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness, self-motivation, and integrity in professional interactions.
