Position Overview:

Marsh & McLennan is on the lookout for a qualified candidate for the role of Capital Markets Treasury Analyst.

Role Expectations:

This position plays a crucial role in the implementation of capital market initiatives and management of capital structure at Marsh & McLennan. Responsibilities include overseeing debt issuance (both short-term and long-term), managing share repurchase programs, formulating dividend policies, and conducting financial flexibility assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate and disseminate various daily and quarterly reports to showcase Treasury's operations across the organization
  • Collaborate with business units to facilitate global issuance of guarantees and letters of credit
  • Support external financing endeavors, including Commercial Paper, Revolving Credit Facility, Term Loans, and Bond issuances
  • Conduct regular evaluations of corporate cash flow and global interest expenses/income
  • Maintain an annual cash flow projection to ensure liquidity management
  • Oversee and implement capital market initiatives such as share buybacks
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations for senior management regarding financing strategies
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Mathematics, or 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles
  • Exceptional problem-solving and project management capabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
Preferred Attributes:

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Experience with Excel-based financial modeling
  • Familiarity with VBA and/or Python programming languages
