Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Investment Banking Analyst to join our capital markets team. This role is based in our headquarters and focuses on delivering exceptional value to our corporate clients while contributing positively to the communities we operate in.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of transactions, focusing on investment-grade bonds, equities, and hybrid securities.
- Develop and prepare pitch materials, requests for proposals (RFPs), and case studies related to deals.
- Maintain essential client and transaction databases to ensure accurate and timely information.
- Collaborate with various departments, including fixed income trading, equities, tax-exempt finance, and asset management, to enhance marketing efforts.
- Engage with external transaction teams from leading law firms and other financial institutions.
- Bring a minimum of months of relevant experience in investment banking or a related field.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and creativity in high-pressure situations.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Bloomberg is advantageous.
- Must obtain SIE and Series 79 licenses within six months of employment; Series 63 and 7 licenses are a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
At SWS, we are committed to fair and transparent compensation practices. The anticipated total fixed compensation for this role ranges from $95,000 to $125,000, with final compensation determined by the candidate's unique qualifications and experience. Additionally, this position is eligible for a discretionary bonus.
