Job Summary

The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing projects on-site, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining a safe work environment. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage pre-construction scheduling, logistics, and planning to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Create and maintain accurate project schedules and weekly field updates to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Manage field teams, trade partners, and owner vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Proactively identify and resolve on-site challenges and issues to minimize cost impact.
  • Lead and document safety meetings to maintain a safe work environment and promote Clune's safety culture.
  • Manage project documentation and ensure timely completion of punch list work, commissioning of equipment, and training of the owner and/or owner vendors.
  • Review general conditions and labor requirements with the project management team to ensure financial commitments are met.
  • Become proficient in Clune's established systems and technology to work efficiently and effectively.
  • Participate in business development and client relationship management by attending industry events, networking, and developing beneficial working relationships with clients and designers.
Requirements
  • 6-15 years of experience managing commercial interior, healthcare, and/or mission-critical projects.
  • Experience managing all aspects of field operations, including scheduling, quality control, and coordinating subcontractors.
  • Solid background in construction trades and technical knowledge.
  • Proficiency with scheduling software.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
