About AECOM Tishman Construction Management

Since its inception in 1898, AECOM Tishman has overseen the construction of some of the most remarkable structures globally. Our team comprises a diverse group of experts, including structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers, architects, technology specialists, and project management professionals. We offer comprehensive consultation and guidance throughout all phases of construction projects, from initial planning and preconstruction evaluations to design assessments, scheduling, procurement, and project completion. AECOM Tishman effectively manages all consultants and contractors, ensuring client interests are represented throughout the project lifecycle. Position Overview

AECOM/Tishman is seeking a Superintendent for a cutting-edge tower construction project.

  • Oversee on-site administrative and technical management for various construction projects.
  • Direct and organize construction activities within assigned responsibilities, which may encompass single or multiple project areas.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all job site operations or coordinate with client representatives on-site.
  • Ensure compliance with design specifications, adherence to schedules, budget management, and quality standards for all assigned job site operations.
  • Collaborate with administrative field staff and project management to ensure coordinated efforts.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 4 years of construction experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with a large general contracting firm.
  • Familiarity with construction documentation processes, including change orders and requests for information.
  • Experience in managing subcontracted labor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Ability to work independently and effectively.
  • Preferred degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

Additional Information

  • This position does not offer sponsorship for U.S. work authorization.
  • Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
  • This role requires on-site presence and is not eligible for hybrid or remote work.

Compensation will be determined based on location and individual qualifications, with an expected range of $90,000 to $167,262.00.
