The Behavioral Science Team

Welcome to our innovative Behavioral Science team at Dexcom. We are dedicated to utilizing behavioral science principles to enhance user experience and optimize product functionality. As a Behavioral Science Analyst, you will collaborate with a dynamic group of researchers and professionals who are driven by experimentation, teamwork, and a desire for discovery. Key Responsibilities:

  • Create comprehensive behavior maps to visually depict user interactions with products, identifying areas for enhancement.
  • Perform telemetry analysis related to product usage to extract insights on performance and user patterns, offering actionable recommendations to boost engagement and device efficiency.
  • Design and execute behavioral studies to collect qualitative and quantitative data regarding user experiences.
  • Transform research findings into actionable insights and recommendations that tackle business challenges and seize opportunities.
  • Develop and present reports, visualizations, and presentations to convey findings to stakeholders, supporting data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Design, Data Science, and R&D, to integrate behavioral insights into product development processes.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and trends in behavioral science, health technology, and chronic disease management to ensure our products remain innovative.

Qualifications for Success:

  • A degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Human Factors, or a related discipline.
  • A solid foundation in mixed methods research, enabling effective data collection and analysis.
  • Proficiency in telemetry analysis, data visualization, and statistical software (e.g., R, Python, SPSS).
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience in a research or insights role within a relevant industry (e.g., technology, healthcare).
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.

Travel Requirements:

  • 5-15% travel may be required.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field, with 2-5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 0-2 years of equivalent experience.

Flex Workplace: Your primary location will be a home office, with no assigned workstation. You will collaborate with your manager to determine office visit needs.
