  • Engage with owners/operators of non-compliant UST sites to assist in fulfilling regulatory requirements.
  • Review leaking UST cases to assess eligibility for closure under the Low Threat Closure Policy and aid in creating comprehensive closure plans.
  • Prepare case closure documentation for cases deemed eligible by oversight agencies.
  • Assist in training staff on techniques for identifying responsible parties and conducting investigative research.
  • Lead the development and execution of annual reports related to leak prevention, including data analysis and report finalization.

  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, including regulatory interaction.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to collaborate effectively with state and local agencies.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying complex policies and technical information.
  • A foundational understanding of UST construction, monitoring, and leak detection methods.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other computer applications.
